Jon was born and raised in Salt Lake City, UT. Growing up in a family of 4 boys, he was constantly involved in both organized and unorganized sports including football, basketball, wrestling and rugby. During his sophomore year of high school, he broke his leg playing football. This experience was his first introduction to physical therapy. After going through months of rehab, he knew that he wanted to be a physical therapist. This desire was continually reinforced through his volunteer work, jobs, and schooling. After serving a church mission in Greece and Cyprus, Jon attended Brigham Young University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. He then attended Mary Baldwin University – Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences in Virginia where he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Jon has a passion for helping his patients achieve their rehab goals and improving their overall quality of life. Jon and his wife, Jaelyn, have two little boys. He loves spending time with them and enjoys playing/watching sports, skiing, and hiking.
