Jennifer Wood was born in Ogden, Utah and was raised in Texas, South Dakota, and Missouri. She attended college at Idaho State University and graduated with her Physical Therapist Assistant degree.
Jennifer has always had a passion for health and fitness and has a background as an American Council on Exercise (ACE) fitness instructor and personal trainer. Before she began her career in physical therapy she was certified in Pilates, Yoga, and Cardio Athletic Kickboxing. She has taught group personal training and basic nutrition courses. In addition, Jennifer has enjoyed teaching Yoga and Pilates as a volunteer at senior centers, church groups, and elementary schools.
It is her passion for health and fitness that lead Jennifer into the field of Physical Therapy. Jennifer is much more apt to pick up an anatomy and physiology book than she is to pick up a novel. Jennifer enjoys being a Physical Therapist Assistant and feels it a personal success when she is able to help others to achieve their health and fitness goals.
When not at school or in the clinic, Jennifer also enjoys playing tennis, running, and kickboxing. Jennifer and her husband Luke have two sons and two daughters. As a family they enjoy going on trips, camping, and watching movies.
