Jake was raised in Centerville, Utah. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Utah with B.S. in Exercise and Sports Science. He went on to attend graduate school at Idaho State University where he received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Jake’s interest in physical therapy began at a young age, as he experienced a wide variety of injuries while playing competitive soccer. The culmination of these experiences led Jake to pursue greater knowledge and understanding regarding the anatomy, physiology, kinesiology and biomechanics of the human body. His passion for helping others achieve and maintain a high quality of life ultimately led him to pursue and earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. It wasn’t until he married his wife Kalie, a native of Blackfoot, ID, that he realized the beauty and appealing nature of Southeastern Idaho. Jake’s pride and joy is his family, which includes his wife and 2.5 year old daughter Quinn. When not in the clinic, Jake enjoys playing soccer, golf, basketball, camping and spending time with his family.
