Deidra Nichols was born and raised in Rigby, Idaho to a small, close-knit family. She completed her undergraduate work at Idaho State University and received a Bachelors of Science in Sports Science and Physical Education with an emphasis in Exercise Science. She then continued her schooling at Idaho State University and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May 2012. Deidra’s doctoral case study titled “Diagnosis and treatment of a patient with bilateral thoracic outlet syndrome secondary to anterior subluxation of bilateral sternoclavicular joints: A case report” was published in the Physiotherapy Theory and Practice Journal in November 2013. Deidra received her Orthopedic Certified Specialist certification in May 2015 and worked in outpatient orthopedics for 6 years. She has been working in home health for the past 2 years after having her third child, but she is excited to return home to outpatient orthopedics with additional experience in pelvic floor rehabilitation. Deidra is married with 3 beautiful children and she loves to watch movies, dance, and spend time with her family.
