Alex White was born in Dickinson, ND and moved around quite a bit as a kid prior to his family settling down in Billings, MT. He attended the University of Montana in Missoula, MT earning his Bachelor’s degree in health and human performance in 2014. While there, he competed for the track and field team in the discus, hammer throw, and shot put. He continued at the University of Montana where he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.
In 2018, Alex furthered his education and became certified level 1 performance coach through USA Weightlifting (USAW-L1), he also earned certification in Functional Movement Technique (FMT) through the nationally recognized course Rock Tape.
Alex and his wife moved to Twin Falls to contribute to the Magic Valley and enjoy the great outdoors. They both enjoy doing anything outdoors, no matter the season. They are very excited to live their lives in Twin Falls!
Alex has worked previously with coaching in combination with strength and conditioning. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. His mentality is that everyone has a goal they want to reach and he hopes to assist them in that endeavor. His goal as a physical therapist is to empower patients to understand their bodies and be able to confidently move without pain or limitation. His approach is to improve body awareness and strength through a variety of therapeutic treatments and education.
