Cory was raised in Burley, Idaho. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Utah Valley University and subsequently moved to Mesa, Arizona to attend A.T. Still University for his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.
Cory was first exposed to physical therapy at a young age when a physical therapist would come to his home to work with his disabled, yet very special, younger brother. He would watch very intently as the therapist would work with his brother, and knew that by becoming a physical therapist he would in turn be able to help others live joyful lives. He became very interested in how the body moves and how to assist those with musculoskeletal, neurological, and other impairments achieve an active and meaningful lifestyle.
Cory is married to his beautiful and talented wife Emily, who he met while in Utah. They are the proud parents of a daughter and son. Cory also enjoys playing sports, camping, wake & snowboarding, and is also very passionate about American Kenpo Karate and vocal percussion.
