What is the Wright Physical Therapy Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program?
Our Pulmonary Rehabilitation is a program of high skilled education and therapeutic exercise that teaches you about your lungs, how to exercise and do activities with less shortness of breath, and how to “live” better with your lung condition. It has a focus to create new blood vessels and improve cardiac output for easier breathing.
How will WPT Pulmonary Rehabilitation help me?
By attending our education classes, you will learn many things about your lungs. For example, the following topics will be discussed: what is deficient with your lungs, when to call your health care provider, and how to keep from suffering setbacks. During your individualized sessions, you may meet others with breathing problems. This gives you time share concerns and approaches to living with breathing problems.
The therapy sessions will help you be more active with less shortness of breath. Mostly, you will be properly exercising both your arms and legs. Wright Physical Therapy is partners with Classics Guided Fitness. This fitness center focuses on long term exercise solutions for happy lifestyle changes and is focused on individuals 40 and older. Specific to lung issues and other co-morbidities, Classics is a safe and effective solution for your long term fitness needs.
Is Pulmonary Rehabilitation covered by insurance?
We are happy to contact your insurance company for your specific coverage. Most insurances do cover pulmonary rehabilitation so be sure to call us with questions or to get help.
