OCS CERTIFICATIONS ENSURE HIGHEST LEVEL OF PATIENT CARE AT WRIGHT PHYSICAL THERAPY
We are thrilled to announce that Jonathan Barker and Ryan Bishop have joined Bryan Wright in completing the rigorous requirements for OCS (Orthopedic Clinical Specialist) certification to better serve our patients. Ryan Bishop is the clinical manager of our physical therapy clinic in Kimberly, Idaho and Jonathan Barker is the clinical manager of our Jerome clinic.
Certification is achieved through successful completion of a standardized application and examination process including 2,000 hours of direct patient care as a licensed Physical Therapist in the specialty area including examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, and intervention.
Once requirements have been met, the DPTs (Doctors of Physical Therapy) submit an application to take the credentialing exam.
The OCS certification process is managed by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists, a division of the American Physical Therapy Association. You can find out more at www.abpts.org.

“Our core value of “Always Increase in Wisdom” makes the journey of learning how to better serve our patients all the more enriching. There is no real learning without sharing and acting on the knowledge. This process has helped our culture to transform more fully into lifelong learners and seekers of wisdom. Our entire team has astounded me with their dedication to our patients in learning the latest and greatest, and this process of becoming a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist just proved that to me even further.”
